Some points to keep in mind when selecting and buying a towable horse trailer are:

• Understand the construction of the horse trailers you are choosing among. How the trailer handles wear and tear is what will leave a lasting impression on your trailer experience.

• Be sure to select a horse trailer that meets the tow capability of your vehicle. Or be sure to select a tow vehicle that will match the tow requirements of the selected horse trailer. See our tips section for more details.

• When comparing horse trailers be sure to compare costs, weights, comparable standards and optional features. For example, many manufacturers do not include the number of standards that Lakota does in our base models.
